All year around bird-of -paradise flowers blossom in Madeira,and I keep painting them on a regiular basis,using different sizes,scale and format.

FAIRTALE HOUSE IN SANTANA:A PAINTING FROM MADEIRA

In a region called Santana,there are these cute, fairtale look alike houses with straw-covered roofs and brightly painted facades.
Even before I moved to Madeira,I wanted to make a painting of these houses,that reminded me of "Wizard of OZ" country.
Now it is a tourist attraction,but long time ago people in Santana were living in the houses like this one.
