BIRD OF PARADISE

Bird of Paradise is an official flower of Madeira.You can see these flowers all year around.In Portuguese "bird of paradise" flower called "estrelizia".Hope,I spelled this one right.

DO YOU EVER NEED A RAINCOAT IN MADEIRA?

Madeira has many micro climates,and if you travel outside of Funchal or Calheta,you might need a jacket or a raincoat ,especially in the winter season.
Layers usually work the best.

Coffee here in Madeira is strong and flavourful and tastes great ,drunk from the orange porcelan cup.

PONTE DA SAO LORENZO

Ponte da Sao Lorenzo is one of the most beautiful places in Madeira. Lots of tourists make a point to visit this place during their trip to the island.You can park your car and walk for a couple of hours to the very end of the peninsula,however,I have not done this yet .
This is one of the first landscape paintings I have painted in Madeira.
